About This Blog

The stories depicted in this blog are based directly upon my observations in everyday life. How can an ordinary day become an extraordinary adventure? You may find your answer here.

Synopsis
Trapped within an alternate universe in which lives are ruled by the ultimate "game," players band together in teams of 3 (navigator, designer, guardian), striving towards a single goal: a golden flag, that when acquired, not only puts an end to the game, but also to all of the pain and suffering caused as a result of it. Lexis, a player within this game, is a talented navigator who, like other players, strives to capture the golden flag and put an end to the game.

Types of Players
Navigator: An extraverted individual (generally speaking) who portrays exemplary leadership qualities, the navigator is one who guides and directs his/her teammates as they traverse the game.

Designer: A clever and resourceful engineer with a penchant for solving problems. The core of any team, designers are generally creative and innovative individuals whose skills are indispensable in accomplishing the various missions assigned by the game's GM.

Guardian: Athletic and courageous, the duty of a guardian is to protect his/her teammates while faithfully carrying out the wishes of the navigator. Most are talented acrobats and possess skills in combat.

Non-Player Characters (NPC's): Ordinary civilians who are not a part of the game, they are essentially 'innocent' bystanders that have no awareness of the game's existence.

Game Master (GM): A special type of player who is in charge of the game, deciding its rules, assigning missions to teams, and guarding the golden flag. The game master is said to be the most powerful player in the game, and supposedly can only be defeated with the combined efforts of an entire team of three.
